New Delhi: The Noida-headquartered mobile wallet Paytm has come up with a cashback offer of up to Rs 1,500 on domestic flight ticket bookings in association with Citibank. The flight offer is exclusively available for Citibank credit, debit card holders. A customer can get 20 per cent cashback of up to Rs 1,500 on a minimum ticket value of Rs 5,000 (excluding meals, insurance, other added on services). Users can avail the cashback by applying promo code: 'FLYCITI'.
The domestic flight offer is valid for one-time usage per user, provided that the user has a verified mobile number on Paytm. Users having Citibank debit and credit cards are eligible for the cashback while user’s having Citi corporate credit cards are not entitled to receive the cashback. The cashback can be availed only on the first eligible transaction per card per Thursday during the offer period.
Upon the successful flight ticket booking, the cashback will be credit to the user’s credit or debit card not to the Paytm wallet. “Cashback amount of the above offers will be credited in the customer's Citibank card within 60 days from the date of transaction. The timeline provided for effecting credit is only indicative of expected period and may vary from the actual date of credit,” Paytm said in a statement.
According to Paytm, cancelled orders will not be eligible to receive the cashback and the cashback will be calculated on the total booking amount after excluding the convenience fee.
